A little about me and how I got in to guitars.
My name is Aric Guerra, and ever since I was a kid I’ve always have a musical instrument. From a guitar to a drum set to a little harmonica. My dad got me into music country, rap and rock. Little did he know I soon fell in love with the instruments, although my hands weren’t big enough to play the guitar, I still begged him until he got me one. I played here and there always jamming out and just having fun. That was when I was around three or four. Around the age of five or six I got into drumming just as something to do and smack on. When I was around 10-11 I kinda got serious into instruments. Around that time I didn’t have a guitar because we moved and I couldn’t take it along like my drum set I also had. A few years later down the road I found my self loving music more and more. Finding my self wanting to play the guitar seriously more and more as time went on. It wasn’t until last year or so I got another guitar! I wanted to play country music and a bit of rock, because I’ve alwaysed loved the sound of the guitars in music. I just recently devoted time into the guitar, playing new songs and practicing mastering that instrument. I’m kinda good at the guitar making my own rhythms and little songs. I have a long way to go until I sound like a professional like how I want to be. But I just found a new love for the ukulele, I’ve never had one before so it is going to be a fun new experience playing it. I had just purchased it yesterday so it should come in soon! I cant wait to explore this new instrument learning all the cords and sounds it can make, turning them into a beautiful sound to make me and others around me happy.

Places I’ve lived
My name is Aric Guerra, I grew up moving from places to place never really staying long maybe just a year or a few months. I have lived all over Texas. I have lived from Raymondville to Houston to Courpous and more. Id have to say one of my favorite places/states I’ve lived in was Florida. We lived in orange park, you know by the big’o famous Jacksonville. I stayed in Jacksonville too, it was nice, but there were a lot of people and the traffic was horrible. In orange park it was peaceful. My other side of the family is what led us to Florida, my mother wanted to see them more so my dad said “let go” and we all moved in the summer. We went to the beach often over in Florida, it was our second home basically. That’s where my love of the sea comes from. I wanted to be a marine biologist until I realized how powerful the waves are and how easy it is to get stuck out at sea. I still love to go out into the sea and fish or play in the water with my family.
What Im into and what I like
I am into a variety of things. I am into the guitar and the ukulele(which I purchased, but still waiting for to come in) and the drums. Other than instruments I’m into skateboarding, playing video games, hanging with family and friends. And I am into mustangs (car) they have been my favorite vehicle since I was 8. I don’t know why I love them so much I just do. But other than that I’m a pretty normal teenager just trying to get through high school alive. A few more things I am into are dogs. I love my little dog a lot. His name is Bruce and he is a blue heeler and yes he is a very good doggo if any one was wondering. I’m also into dirt bikes and motorbikes. I am also into traveling, after collage I plan to travel the country and then the world. Just to see it and hopefully meet the girl I could possibly call the one.

A bit to know about the guitar and my experience with it.
So the guitar isn’t an easy instrument at first, but it does get easier over time. A few important things to know is, never skip a day of practice. You have to practice everyday for a while and then you’ll see results. Two, you’re fingertips are gonna hurt, badly because of pressing on the strings to make the correct sound. Three, motivate you’re self to play the guitar, if you don’t you can lose interest and give up on it. Last but not least don’t give up or feel discouraged because it wont sound the same as the song, just keep practicing and you’ll concur that rift or song. Also don’t rush it, give it time and you’ll get it. One big mistake I made was my form. Because my form was bad the cords didn’t come out as I intended them to. Cause of that I got discouraged and didn’t want to play until I told my self I had to keep playing, because I wanted to play so bad.
